The New Moon Restaurant, with locations in downtown Los Angeles, Montrose, and now with its third location in the Santa Clarita Valley. The popular budding restaurant group is Zagat-listed and has an enthusiastic following that goes back three generations, starting when the restaurant opened its doors in 1956. The Montrose location was an immediate success when it opened in 2005, showing profits from week one. The New Moon was recently chosen as best Chinese Restaurant in the Glendale News-Press/Foothill Leader.

Third generation restaurateur Colin Tom has taken the best of his family recipes, brought them up to date, and expanded the scope of his menu using an excellent blend of seasonal ingredients; lightness and freshness are recurring themes.
